MUSINGS ON THE MYSTERY: A Theological Perspective of the Phenomena of the Christian Church and the Age of Grace
by Tommy Nelson
It has been said and rightly so that the greatest problem with the Christian church throughout the centuries has been an identity crisis—we are not sure who we are. The church as an institution is inseparable from western culture, and yet a true theological, biblical, and prophetic understanding of the church is all too often beyond our understanding. Who we are. Why are we here. What our place is in history. These questions few Christians seem to understand. And yet an understanding of these matters is among the highest, most joyful, and glorious of all human ideas. That is the purpose of this small book. To clarify the question of our identity.
God and Country: What the Bible Says About How Christians Should Relate to Government
by Tommy Nelson
Tommy Nelson has established his ministry and expansive influence on American Christianity by his clear and penetrating exposition of unvarnished biblical truth. God and Country is the most comprehensive and understandable explanation of God’s instruction to His people on how to be rightly related to and involved with their national government. Eschewing party politics and lies from every side, Nelson uses the broad narrative from Scripture to reveal God’s will for human government and our responsibility within it and under it.
